Food that is delicious, presented with the care that comes from a chef with a passion for fresh produce and the desire to presenting great food. It is so important to us that the food we present pays homage to the produce and to the dedicated and passionate work of our local and Australian producers and makes the most of fresh the very best seasonal produce.
The Lovedale dining scene has stepped up a notch with talented chef Michael Robinson taking on the role of Executive Chef at Zaih’s in the recently renovated dining space at Emma’s Cottage Vineyard on Wilderness Road in Lovedale. The eclectic décor lends warmth and a relaxed atmosphere which is welcoming with a stylish twist.
With an impeccable career as a chef, Michael has worked as The Bathers Pavilion in Balmoral, La Trompette in London and also Ortolan in LA. Returning to Australia, he joined Justine North at Becasse (2 hats) as joint Head Chef before launching North’s Quarter Twenty One (one hat) as Head Chef. He was also Head Chef at Margan Restaurant in Broke Fordwich before leaving to go out on his own and establish Zaih’s in Lovedale.
Joining Michael as Head Chef is Lucas Laird, who until recently was Sous Chef at Margan Restaurant, and brings to the table his passion for fresh produce and innovation.
