Learn how to paint like J.S.Sargent, Clarice Beckett and Hugh Ramsey using the tools and techniques of Australian Tonalism. Over 10 weeks you will learn about The Order of Visual Importance, Sight Sizing, Measurement and other key concepts to produce beautiful artworks. Your teacher is Jacqueline Mather (Masters in Painting, College of Fine Arts UNSW).
Class is held each Thursday (day group 10-12.30 or night group 6.30 – 9pm). Limited places available. Notes and exercises are provided each week to supplement your learning journey.
This course does not require knowledge of anatomy and perspective and suits both beginner and experienced artists.
The cost is $250 for 5 lessons, paid in 2 instalments, with a make-up class available if you require it.
You will learn that you can paint ANYTHING with your tool kit of visual perception techniques and methods.
