Weddings at Adams Peak Country Estate are a little different from other venues. You have the freedom to make it what you want. So make the most of it. With the ceremony, reception and accommodation all in one place, we make it easy for you and your guests to relax and enjoy the ‘big day’ without the stress of transport, traffic or watching the clock!
“The Barn” is the perfect place for your rustic reception. The Barn, with it’s rural charm, can be styled simply to keep with it’s country character. It can hold up to 120 people seated and 160 for a cocktail reception.
“The Hay Shed” with it’s open air and elegant styling to make the most of the sweeping views across the valley and surrounding mountain range, can hold up to 160 people seated and 200 for a cocktail reception.
Depending on the style and theme of your wedding, there are a number of beautiful locations on the property to hold your ceremony.
The main purpose-built ceremony area “The Lawn”, provides some of the most amazing views in the Upper Hunter, taking in the Brokenback Ranges, vineyards, and beautiful landscape as far as the eye can see.
“The Hill” is a little higher up than “The Lawn”, and also has breath taking views of the valley. “The Hill” or “The Lawn” are also the perfect spots for your pre-dinner drinks, canapés and perhaps lawn games following the ceremony, to look out over the valley as the sun goes down.
The Secret Tree
For those wanting to tie the knot under a special tree, we have a stunning hundred year old Iron Bark tree that is full of character and charm located up the back of the property. This is also a favourite location for photos.
We have onsite accommodation for 24 people, which is included in your wedding package.
“The House” is made of 8 suites with queen size beds and separate ensuites – some rooms with additional single beds as well. Providing excellent accommodation for up to 20 guests. Most rooms have a small sun room with a fantastic view overlooking vineyards all the way to Yellow Rock and the Brokenback Range. There is a huge kitchen for preparation of meals other than the wedding night. Or if you would just prefer to spend your weekend relaxing, we can also provide you with your own chef for an in house dinner party, drop off meals, or morning after the wedding brunch – so there’s no need to go out to eat (which means there is also no cooking or cleaning up the mess).
“The Cabin” is a 2 bedroom cabin for up to 4 guests. “The Cabin” cannot be booked separately and must be booked as part of the wedding package. Often used for the bride and bridesmaids preparation on the morning of the wedding, it provides privacy and a perfect location for pre wedding photos. “The Cabin” has been designed with premium fixtures and fittings with each of the generous bedrooms having Queen beds.
